Ever since 2008 i have been desperate to travel all india, world or travel like a vagabond.
While in school during 1994-95 and residing in YWCA coonoor, i often chatted with foreign traveller and met different kinds of travellers there, those who travelled on a bike, those by cheap transport , those in who traveled in luxury. It was around the time when i read in newspaper that someone had travelled around the world in 7 years on foot.
In 2008 during the "Global recession" i had made up to travel , New zealand refused me a travel visa stating unfair reasons and stole my NZ$ 100. But as usual "no money" and "not prepared" for a world travel although that was a desire, then after marriage in 2009 i decided to do a world travel for which i planned to save up and do it in 2013 with my wife.But scariness of visa processing and etc led me to think that i should instead try a All india travel on a bike, I started gathering maps of all states from mapofindia.com and making a site on google sites. During all this i was looking at ADSENSE to support my travel.
In 2017 my friend hafiz posts on facebook that he plans to do a all india travel covering all 29 states.
Be late better than never, I have joined in.
Zaeem and Zaira my twins are just 57 days old while i start with my preparation.I would say i do it for them, when they are old enough they would decide whether i did it for them or not.
About the travel, We are estimating a 100 days for it and inviting anyone to join anytime and discontinue anytime. There are no hard and fast rules , destinations would be the meeting point and may or may not flock together. We are on shoestring budget and we estimate about 50K per head which would be 40K on a twin sharing basis.Everyday we plan to travel 150kms + or - 100.Black tea & chappathi as food and stay at Churches,Temples,Mosques,Post offices,Police station.
